SquareTrade recently conducted the good old drop test on the iPad and Nexus 7. Simple goal of this test is to see which tablet holds up the best against drops simulating real life scenarios.

You could probably already predict that the Nexus 7 is the one that takes first place in this comparison. Being as though the tablet is smaller in size, weight, and has a rubber backing. The tests can never be 100% accurate in this case. Either way, at the end of the day, does this really decide what tablet you purchase?

You’d probably wan’t some additional protection for both devices if you are one who drops stuff frequently anyways.
