How to Shut off Data Roaming and Cellular Data on iPhone and iPad

You may be out of your home country and don’t wan’t to use your iPhone or iPad’s data because it may be on roaming and you’d rather not be charged for the very expensive roaming fee’s. In this iOS 101 tip I will be telling you how to shut off data and data roaming.

1st way -

  1. Enter the “settings” app on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. The first tab says “Airplane Mode” if you turn that on it will shut off wireless, cellular, Bluetooth, and any other connection.

2nd way (shut off only data and or only roaming data) -

  1. Enter the “settings” app on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Find the “General” tab and select it.
  3. Find the “network” tab and select it.
  4. There you can see an on off switch for Data Roaming and Cellular Data.
