More Change is Needed in iOS and iOS Devices – My Thoughts

The iPhone has grown in sales and customer satisfaction. The device itself is in so many hands these days. Apple has the rare ability to be able to release one phone a year and get everyone who likes a good product to buy it and keep buying for generations to come. I don’t think Apple has any plans at this time to put more then one phone in production because they are doing very well with one phone already. The device has grown to so many people that its almost more unique to have some other high end smartphone. In school, I can visually see that the iPhone is the most popular phone out there. I used to bring my iPod Touch 2nd gen to school and listen to music and everyone would ask me about it. Now it seems that everyone has one and they have lost allot of their individual uniqueness. I am not saying the product isn’t unique, I am simply saying that everyone knows about it, what it does, how it works, and so on.

The iPhone’s design seems to slightly change every other year (according to all past releases). Although, I feel like people are less excited to see a new iPhone, now that a ton of people have them. I wish Apple would open a window for a new, different, changed device compared to the iPhone we see now. One of my favorite things about Apple was that it was so unique. But, that seems to be changing. Many companies are highly influenced by Apple’s work and many individuals have gone to Apple to the point where the iPhone seems to be the average device. Any other device, appeals to me as different, unique, and interesting. I have nothing against any other phone or OS. I’ve been using iOS for 5 years or so now. I will always be an iOS user, I love the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad. I love Apple products. But, I wan’t to have a new experience with my phone. I wan’t to experience something different. I don’t wan’t to have an OS that I know everything about and rarely find things new to learn about it. I wan’t to experiment with a new phone and a new OS so that I can learn about that phone and OS and how it differs from iOS devices. I thrive to learn about other mobile devices.
